Have you tried this yet? The Asian school girl phenominon that is bubble tea? Basically a heavily flavored tea, mine was strawberry, with large tapioca balls at the bottom. Toss in a horse straw and you can sick those balls right up. Very interesting and very Asian.

I LAVE bubble tea. I prefer the fruity slushie/smoothie ones, though, not the milk or black/green tea.
They’re sometimes called tapioca pearls, if that makes anyone feel better.
And stfu, you can’t even taste them. All the ones I’ve gotten they’ve tasted like the actual drink. If anyone hates them so much, you can ask for flavored jellies in place of the pearls, or ask for them not to be included into your drink when they’re made.
